I was born in a small village south of Alicante but from the very beginning I knew that I wanted to live new experiences out of there … I’ve passed through many cities like London, Berlin, Madrid or Barcelona. Until I arrived in Valencia in 2007.
My first encounter with the world of tourism was at the age of 16, organizing an international handball tournament for the club of my town. As I spoke a bit of English and had a talent for people I was appointed tour guide for the Costa Blanca to the Nordic teams that arrived before the tournament. I loved this experience. Being a hostess made me interested in working in this sector.
To learn languages I went very young as an au-pair to London and as sports are my passion I ended up as a trainer in a sports-camp in remote Minnesota. I studied the Diploma of Tourism at the University of Alicante, and I did an Erasmus-year in Munich. My professional career has been very versatile, touching almost all areas of tourism: from airports, public sector in Turespaña to the hotel world, where I worked more than 10 years in hotels like Hilton Barcelona and Valencia.
Since 2012 I have been part of Valencia Guides where I have been able to develop my vocation for the service and the organization of events. In addition, it has allowed me to discover the most authentic Valencia, a Valencia that was unknown to me.
One of my main hobbies is to practice team sports, also walking in the mountains or escaping to the sea to breathe the pure air. This is what fills me with energy and charges my batteries for the daily work.
