This Mediterranean cooking course gives you the opportunity to cook an authentic valencian paella coached by expert chefs.
The cooking course is organized tailored to each group. From two people to large groups. The courses for smaller groups are organized in the kitchen of a restaurant. For larger groups we can move to an alquería (typical valencia farmhouse) surrounded by orchard and located on the outskirts of Valencia.
It is an ideal activity for companies because, when organized for large groups, teams are formed and each one makes a paella.
Each team prepares a paella
Coached by a chef
After the chef’s explanations about the ingredients of the paella and the main steps for its elaboration, the teams begin to make the different paellas under his/her supervision. During the preparation of the paella, drinks and snacks are served.
Once the paellas are ready, the chef evaluates them and announces which one is the best. Subsequently the entrees are served followed by the paella as main course and then desserts, drinks and coffees.
This activity can be started with a visit to the Central Market and to show and explain the products needed to make the paella.
For groups up to 25 people the activity can be done in a cooking school next to the Central Market of Valencia.
